What a great 12th Birthday!

Easton had an incredible 12th birthday! His birthday was on Oct. 10. The day before he went bowling with some friends and had a great time, although they were the worst bowlers. Thank heavens that isn't their sport because it was scary. On his birthday was his very last football game. He had a birthday wish come true and they won the ball game to have an undefeated season. It was so exciting! After his game we went out to eat with all of our families. Then we went with my family to Outer Limits and went mini golfing and played some games. After that he went hunting for his first time. He went with Matt, his uncle Justin, and Great Grandpa Pat. He ended up shooting his first turkey. He was soooo excited. It was a jam packed day, but it couldn't have been any better!

Blowing out all 12 candles.

Halloween "2009"

Easton was a spooky red masked man this year. He had a lot of fun with his friends this year. Iailey was a cute Chinese girl.. Her Uncle Justin had brought this outfit back to her after a trip over there. Then her Grandma Brown found this purse and fan to match. It all looked so pretty on her.

Easton and Iailey went to a friends Halloween party, so Matt and I took Ellidy trick or treating. We got her to say trick treat at home, but she wouldn't say it at the peoples house, she just wanted to go in their house or sit there and try to open the candy they gave her. She didn't want any of the candy to go in her bucket, she wanted to hold all of it. I think she thought the greatest part was just being able to run around outside. Thankfully the weather was so nice, she was able to for awhile.

Ellidy was a little scared of Iailey at first, she didn't recognize her with the wig on.

Iailey in the Chubbuck Elementary Halloween parade.

Ellidy was a cute little bat.

After we wouldn't open any more candy for Ellidy she decided to try and eat through the whole wrapper. What a "ding bat" ha! ha!

Crazy Hair Day!

For Red Ribbon Week, they had crazy hair day. Easton let Iailey and me take in on him. It was fun. Then his friend came over to meet him to go to school and they had the same do, it was funny. After he got to school another friend sprayed all his ponies red, but I never got a pic of that, it looked even better with the red in it.

He looked in the mirror and told us we made him look girly. We laughed, I have to say you are a "cute" boy!

My favorite little pumpkin of "2008"

I just had to put these pics on here because they are some of my favorites. Matt and I took these of Ellidy last year around Halloween and I love them. She loved sitting in this pumpkin chewing on it. She got so mad when we took her out and she couldn't chew on it anymore. I don't know if she liked the taste of it or because it was cold and felt good on her gums, maybe a combo of both?! Anyway if I need something to make me smile, these definitely do it for me!

Carving pumpkins

We started out by going to a pumpkin patch and picking out some pumpkins. Iailey thought it was great that she had so many options to choose from. She did a great job picking out the perfect one. Then we were off to Matt's mom's to carve the pumpkins. Many years ago Matt's brother Stacy gathered us all up and got us started carving these fun pumpkins which has now become a tradition every year. We all look forward to it. We always have a great dinner and then carve the pumpkins. It's a great time together.

Ellidy and Lucy enjoying snacks while we carved pumpkins.

Alex loves the dip! Can you tell? Loved the messy face, so cute.

Sweet baby Lola sat in the highchair and was such a good baby the whole time. She just watched what everyone was doing.

Grandma Grace was so sweet and brought treats for her Great Grand kids and Grand kids for Halloween because she wasn't going to be around on Halloween day. Thanks we loved the cookies!

The final result! They all turned out great!

Mine is the bat.

Matt's is the cat (for Ellidy because she loves kitty's) and Iailey's is the smiley face next to the cat. Easton had a birthday party so he didn't make it out to carve pumpkins this year, we have one at home for him that hopefully we'll find the time to carve at home.

We always have to light them up and see how they look. The kids get so excited when they are all lit up.

Have you ever been this tired?

Not to long ago I received this cute email, that said "have you ever been this tired"? Then it had all these cute pics of kids and animals and the funny ways they fell asleep. The other night Ellidy had one of these moments. I was holding her on the couch and she fell asleep. All of sudden she wiggled out of my arms, I let her go because I thought she was waking up. She stood up, looked at the couch and just laid her head down (while still standing) and fell back asleep. I thought she would wake up after a couple of minutes, but she didn't she just stood there asleep. The kids and I were laughing so hard and that didn't even wake her up. I had to get a picture and the flash is what finally woke her up. What a sweet tired little girl.

Parade & Football

The Rams are now 6-0! They will go into the playoffs as the #1 seed. Way to go Rams! Hopefully they can keep up their momentum and win the playoff game.

Iailey was in the ISU homecoming parade this weekend with DSDS the company she dances for. She had a lot of fun. It was of course at the same time as the football game. So Tawna and I dropped the girls off, watched them go through at the first of it and then hustled over to the football game. Thanks again Kristi for picking up the girls and bringing them over to the football game for us afterwards.

Sassy little Iailey.
