Cute Girls!

The girls looked so cute! They were all dressed up to go to
their cousin Lola's blessing. After the blessing I snapped
a few pics. Easton looked great to, but he borrowed a
game from his Uncle Stacy, so he couldn't take time out
for a picture. Ellidy was giving me the cheeser in these,
but I managed to snap a few at the right moment and
get a cute smile.

Our Cheeser

The past few times I've got the camera out, I automatically get this face.
Ellidy is turning into quite a little ham. She makes us laugh so hard.
She has pulled this face for awhile, we used to say," do the scrunchie face" and she would do it once in awhile. Now whenever she see's a camera she does this.
We say, "give us a cheeser for the camera," and voila we get this hilarous little girl.
She just turned 9 months a few days ago, what a fun month it's going to be with her.

Look at Ellidy's cute little tooth poking up. You gotta love that 1 1/2 tooth smile.

Let's Play Ball!

It's here, baseball season! What a great way to start it out, in sunny St. George. We were all ready to go to some warm weather & enjoy some baseball. Matt & mom had colds and didn't feel real great, but that didn't keep them down, they were determined to enjoy the sun to. The Sun Devils had only a few days of outside practice, but they did really well for that. They ended up going to the playoffs as the 8th seed. They had to play the #1 seed and only lost by one in the bottom of the seventh. They ended up taking 8th out of 41 teams, which I think is great. There's no doubt if they would have won that game they would have went to the championship, but hopefully next year. Nice job Sun Devils! Matt coaching & keeping stats. Everyone comments on how calm & quiet Matt was, but he didn't have a voice to be any other way.

Outstanding pitching by Easton in St. George, UT.

Easton was on fire with his pitching at this tournament. This was at his first game. His first inning pitching he pitched 9 pitches all of which were strikes. The rest of the games he did extremely well, also. I was on the other teams side taking pictures & heard some parents commenting on what a good pitcher he was, that was exciting to hear. All of the Sun Devils pitching was great at this tournament. Even some coaches from the other teams told Matt that they would like to have his pitching. Keep up the good work Devils.

Fun in St. George

The kids getting an autograph from MLB Player and Hall of Famer Greg Maddux. They thought this was really neat. His son was there playing with a Las Vegas team in the 12 year old division.

Taylee, Iailey, & Maddi love to eat snowcones & play together at the games.

Swimming in the pool at the hotel is probably the #1 highlight of the trip. This was Ellidy's first time to swim. She loved it. I wish I had a picture of the pool after the ball games, it's crazy you can't hardly see the water because of all the kids in there. It is so much fun, there was a lot of kids from the Sun Devils and the Diamondbacks staying at our hotel. They had a great time.

Happy Birthday March babies

Kortni & Iailey on Iailey's birthday. I didn't get a pic of Kort on her bday, but I had this one from Iailey's bday that's so cute of them.
Yesterday me, mom, Iailey, & Ellidy went down to Salt Lake to celebrate my great niece and great nephews 1st birthday! It was a quick day trip, but we were all so excited to go to their party and see everyone! One year ago Vanessa and Cohen were born on the same day March 15!It was crazy that they were born on the same day, but how fun to share a birthday with your cousin. That seems to be the way it works in our family, we either share a birthday or have it real close to someone elses. Matt and Easton had to stay home for Easton's hunters ed. test(which he passed, yeah!)Sun Devil practice, and they went to a late birthday lunch for Matt's mom's birthday. Happy Birthday Cathy on March 9th! This month is also my niece Kortni's birthday, it was March 12th. We took her out to Cold Stone the other night for her birthday(we love that yummy place). Happy Birthday Kortni! Next is C.J.'s birthday on March 17th, Happy Birthday C.J.! In case your wondering a lot of my nieces and nephews are closer in age to me than my brothers and sisters. C.J. is only 3 years younger than me (30 is sneaking up on you ha!ha!) that is how I am already a great Aunt. I love it that way. I had brothers and sisters to look up to and watch after me and nieces and nephews to play with growing up. I have to write about my funny story when I was 3. They told me I was going to be an aunt when I was 3 and I thought that when C.J. was born I was going to turn into an ant! I screamed and cried and didn't want him born because I thought I was going to get stepped on and squished. Give me a break I was only three, that was the only ant I knew of at the time. Well I guess I finally figured it out, and was thrilled to have someone to drag around and make him play school with me up in the old shack when we were little, so I learned that being an " aunt " wasn't so bad after all. Now I have 22 nieces and nephews and love being an aunt to all of them. Anyway happy birthday all you March babies. My niece Jessica, her husband Paul, my great nephew Cohen, My nephew C.J. my great niece Vanessa, and C.J.'s wife Di.

Cohen was all about digging into the cake and Vanessa was a dainty little girl with her cake. It was so cute watching them.

Vanessa, Cohen, and Ellidy. It will be so fun watching them grow up together.

HAPPY 35TH BIRTHDAY MATT!
Today is my wonderful husband's birthday! He spent part of it swimming with the kids, unfortunately the other part he had to work. Matt you are the best husband and father ever and we love you so much! I hope this whole year is full of wonderful birthday wishes.

When I think of March Madness, I think of our household not basketball. Yesterday was a prime example of why I think that way. I got up with the roosters to start getting us all ready for a busy but fun filled day. First I got Iailey ready for her dance competition in Idaho Falls. Which if any of you are dance mom's, you know that's not a quick and easy chore. Matt calls it a fiasco. After hair and makeup were done we rushed off to Easton's basketball game at Franklin, whoops it wasn't at Franklin, it was at Irving(good thing we sent him with the Boyer's so he was at the right place at the right time). He had a double header that day, but we could only stay for the first one. Thanks to dad he stayed here and got Easton to that game and took care of him for the rest of the day. Then Matt, mom, Ellidy, and I were off to Iailey's dance competition. She did two dances there, Rockstar(from Hannah Montana) which is the picture on here and the Electric Light Parade(from Disneyland). She had a solo part in Rockstar and rocked it, way to go Iailey! She did fabulous in Electric Light Parade to. Hopefully I can get some pics of her on stage in one of the other competition, but they didn't allow you to take pics at this one. We didn't stay for the awards ceremony because Ellidy had had enough. I was worried about Ellidy at these competitions, but I have to give it to her she did great for being there for 5 hours. She loves to be around all the kids and likes to watch the dancing for awhile, at 8 months there is only a short attention span on one thing before she needs something new to do. Anyway I'll let everyone know how Iailey did when we find out. Meanwhile we called Easton to see how his second game went and they won both games. That was the end of the season for the Cavaliers(Easton's team) and they went undefeated. Way to go Cavaliers! Easton scored 38 points this season and has really improved in basketball, good job bud! Anyway in a summary that was our Saturday and that's what the next few month's are, except replace basketball with baseball. So a lot of bragging about my kids to come! It's crazy around here, but we feel blessed to be able to do all of it.

Our Family

I've loved being able to check out everyone else's blogs and what a great way to remember all those wonderful little things in your life, so I'm going to give it a shot. Today I'm figuring it all out, so I'm just going to try and get some family pics on here.
