Moving Up!

What a crew! This is minus a few friends of Easton's, these are just the ones that were close by at the time I took the pic. Today was the last day of school and the 5th grade graduation. Next year he moves up to middle school. Oh boy! They are all excited, us parents not so much. I guess we'll make the best of it though. Look at this crew, you have to kind of feel bad for the teachers that get to deal with them next year. Actually, this is a great group of boys, who are very nice and fun. Congrats guys! Good Luck in middle school!

dress up

I guess when your the youngest, you better like to get dressed up by your older brothers and sisters. Iailey was watching after Ellidy while I was doing stuff and pretty soon she came out dressed up like this. She thought it was neat. It made me laugh and think about my baby pics, there are tons of me dressed up by my brothers and sisters. I think this will probably be the start of lots of dress up pics throughout the years.

Brace face x 3

We now have 3 family members in braces. Easton, Iailey, and who would the other idiot be, oh me! I've wanted to fix the minor little details for years, but hadn't got past how much fun they are. Well I guess like having a baby you want that fabulous end result so you go through the agony and pain. No pics yet, I'm still a little bit in denial that I went through with it. I have to give it to my kids, they rarely complain about their braces, me on the other hand haven't stopped complaining for the 3 days I've had them on. Hopefully I can toughen up and take my own advice that I give to all the patients who complain to me; It will all be worth it in the end!

Grand opening at Lava!

Friday was the grand opening for Lava's pool and the two new slides. When I found this out, I called Matt and asked him if he'd cancel baseball so we could go. To my surprise he agreed. I was so excited the slides looked so fun. We picked the kids up from school plus Easton's friend Braedon and headed down there. They are so fast and so fun! We had such a fun time. It made it seem like summer might actually be here.

The slides go over the road, it's a little bit of a walk up to them, but it's worth it.Posted by Picasa

Little tiny Iailey flying down the slide.

There's me coming down and screaming like a girl. Matt didn't scream. I have a great pic of him showing why he didn't scream, but he said if that picture ended up on here he would put some of me that I didn't want on here. I'm really sad cause it's a great picture, oh well.

That's about as far as the boys could make it up the wall (where Easton is on the right, Braedon waiting his turn). They said it was slick, but I think they needed a little more strategy and a little more muscle. Ha! Ha! guys.

Cute pictures of the boys!

Pocatello Tournament

The Sun Devils did outstanding at the Pocatello tournament this past weekend. They played 4 games to try and qualify for the championship game. They ended up winning all 4 games. They were probably the best 4 games they've ever played. They only allowed 1 run total between all 4 games. They looked sharp! We went to the championship game. Unfortunately, the championship game didn't go that well. Matt said as soon as they seen the 5' 6" somewhere around 200lbs. 10 year old from the other team come walking in they started freaking out. They went from 0 errors in 4 games to 8 errors in the championship game. It was a bummer. Hopefully they can put it out of their minds and get back to that sharp looking team that they are. They can be proud taking 2nd out of 21 teams is still a great job!

Iailey sporting her fan wear. Go Sun Devils!

When we tell Easton he watches the ball after he hits it, he always denies that he does. Caught you that double could possibly have been a triple if you would run instead of watching where it goes.

Easton pitched well in this tournament.

1 of the 3 doubles Easton hit in the tournament.

Some projects I've done with my silhouette.

This is only the start of a lot of fun. Today I downloaded a template for these cute little boxes. There are so many possibilities. I love it.

A little bit spoiled!

Monday, while I'm at work, Matt called me and said, when you get an email alert from the credit card company for a large purchase just delete it, don't look at it. O.k., that will happen. He proceeds to tell me that he came across this great deal for something to do with wakeboarding, and he had to get it for me for mother's day. Well I know one thing now, I'm not getting anything for wakeboarding. He is terrible at surprises, I know he tries, but I know him to well. For a long time I've been wanting either a silhouette cutting machine or a cricut. My mom was wanting to get one to, so we had talked about sharing one. I had decided I liked the silhouette and told my mom about it. Monday is the day mom comes in to watch the kids, so the fact that Matt did this on the day mom was here kind of tipped me off. I knew if I came home I could ask a couple of questions from my mom and find out because she's even worse at surprises than Matt. Well when I got home an add for the cricut I had sitting on the counter was moved by my scrapbooking stuff, so I knew I was getting one of them. I was so excited, I couldn't take it I checked my email, but nothing had posted yet. I decided maybe I shouldn't be so naughty and just wait till mother's day for my surprise. Well the next day a package comes. I look at the address and can't really tell where it's from. My first thought is Matt just ordered mine the day before so there is no way it could be my mother's day. I'm thinking it's some baseball pants, kind of. Well I left the package unopened, trying to decide if it would be naughty of me to open it. I sat there and looked at it for a few minutes, then walked away. Okay only to come back about 5 minutes later and rip it open. I'm never this unpatient, but I've wanted this machine so bad! It was the silhouette! I am so flipping excited! I let out a little squeal, clapped my hands and rubbed them together in excitement. A little nervous because Matt's going to be awake in about an hour and I think I might be in trouble. I debated taping it back up, but no way I want to play with it. So when Matt wakes up he sees that I've opened it, but he was so excited for me that he was okay with it. It was funny cause when I went to get it out of the box Ellidy started clapping and rubbing her hands together. So Matt got to see my reaction from Ellidy. He asked if he was the best husband ever. Of course he is! I'm a lot spoiled, but I love it! Thanks for the early Mother's Day!
