This is only the start of a lot of fun. Today I downloaded a template for these cute little boxes. There are so many possibilities. I love it.

A little bit spoiled!

Monday, while I'm at work, Matt called me and said, when you get an email alert from the credit card company for a large purchase just delete it, don't look at it. O.k., that will happen. He proceeds to tell me that he came across this great deal for something to do with wakeboarding, and he had to get it for me for mother's day. Well I know one thing now, I'm not getting anything for wakeboarding. He is terrible at surprises, I know he tries, but I know him to well. For a long time I've been wanting either a silhouette cutting machine or a cricut. My mom was wanting to get one to, so we had talked about sharing one. I had decided I liked the silhouette and told my mom about it. Monday is the day mom comes in to watch the kids, so the fact that Matt did this on the day mom was here kind of tipped me off. I knew if I came home I could ask a couple of questions from my mom and find out because she's even worse at surprises than Matt. Well when I got home an add for the cricut I had sitting on the counter was moved by my scrapbooking stuff, so I knew I was getting one of them. I was so excited, I couldn't take it I checked my email, but nothing had posted yet. I decided maybe I shouldn't be so naughty and just wait till mother's day for my surprise. Well the next day a package comes. I look at the address and can't really tell where it's from. My first thought is Matt just ordered mine the day before so there is no way it could be my mother's day. I'm thinking it's some baseball pants, kind of. Well I left the package unopened, trying to decide if it would be naughty of me to open it. I sat there and looked at it for a few minutes, then walked away. Okay only to come back about 5 minutes later and rip it open. I'm never this unpatient, but I've wanted this machine so bad! It was the silhouette! I am so flipping excited! I let out a little squeal, clapped my hands and rubbed them together in excitement. A little nervous because Matt's going to be awake in about an hour and I think I might be in trouble. I debated taping it back up, but no way I want to play with it. So when Matt wakes up he sees that I've opened it, but he was so excited for me that he was okay with it. It was funny cause when I went to get it out of the box Ellidy started clapping and rubbing her hands together. So Matt got to see my reaction from Ellidy. He asked if he was the best husband ever. Of course he is! I'm a lot spoiled, but I love it! Thanks for the early Mother's Day!

My sis and her family

This past weekend my sister and her kids came and stayed with us. We're always excited to have them come and stay here. It was a busy weekend for all of us, but we still got some time to hang out. It was nice cause I haven't really had a chance to hang out with my nephew Tyson's wife Jaclyn. Tyson you're a lucky guy! Jaclyn's personality is so fun and she's gorgeous. On Saturday Matt, Tyson, Dad, & Easton headed to Providence, UT. for Easton's Sun Devil games. They went 1-1. Easton got a homerun in the first game! Easton you better hit at least 1 more this year for me to see. Nice job, though! We stayed here for Iailey's dance competition, which is blogged farther down. Well the weather was beautiful this weekend and it was fun having the family here. My sis Shellie and her kids(minus Kortni she was a good girl and went to church) and Easton, Iailey, and Kiesha's friend Ryker.

What a day.

April 21, 2009 6:30 a.m. Crash! What was that? Iailey comes running in mom I was getting the milk out of the fridge and the jam was on top of the mayo and the jam fell out of the fridge and broke. So to start the day I got to clean up a brand new jar of sticky glass and jam all over the place. As the day keeps going my throat keeps getting more sore, great. The day before my throat seemed really dry and a little scratchy. Today it's feeling raw and yucky. Ellidy went down for a nap about 8:00 a.m. and slept until 9:20. When she woke up I got us ready for the day. I went and paid some bills and then had to go pick up the Sun Devil banner. It was about 12:30p.m. and about time for another nap for Ellidy. Well the lady at the banner place can't seem to figure out what has happened to the bill for the banner. So she's going all around taking forever, luckily Ellidy was in a good mood even though she was tired. Long story short it was something that probably wouldn't have normally bugged me, but I wasn't feeling great and as the day progressed it was just a little something else that made my day crazy. Well by the time I get done there I really want Ellidy to take a nap before she has to go to Kathy's (she babysits her for a while on Tuesday's). I do everything that normally puts her to sleep, but she's not going to sleep today. Great last week Ellidy had a poopy butt, this week she's going to be tired and grouchy for Kathy. Thank heavens Kathy is such an angel, we love you for taking care of her! So I drop off my sleepy baby and head to work. As soon as I get to work I have a message to call Easton at a # I don't recognize. Well I try that # and no answer, I try the home # no answer, I try Easton's cell NO ANSWER! That's not leaving a warm fuzzy feeling for me. So I try the # I don't know again, he finally answers. He's calling from a friends # to try and talk me into letting him & Iailey go to a friends house. Wrong day for that! He ends up in trouble with me for not accepting no for an answer the 1st time. Well not to much longer I get a call from Matt because Easton's awnry now and him and Iailey are fighting non-stop. Matt only gets 4 hours of sleep on Tuesdays and his work has been hectic this week and he is mad about Greg's(one of his Sun Devil's kid/player) city league coach. He's ready to tell this guy off. Well I'd like to talk and settle Matt down, but I was getting really busy at work and had to go, so his days getting worse too. I get off work and head to Easton's 1st city league game. Yeah, it's beautiful weather and they win their game. I have left-overs from the night before because my wonderful mom had made us dinner and there was extras. Okay I think things are looking better. We eat and the kids didn't even complain about left overs. I feed Ellidy her baby food and she wants more, so I decide to give her some of my mashed potatoes. Idiot me gives her two bites off my spoon before remembering my yucky throat, I'm praying she doesn't catch this yucky stuff now. The kids go outside to play while I clean up. I grab the trash and take it to the door and tell Easton to throw it in the big trash. I hear him say Iailey you do it. I yell back no Easton it's really heavy you do it. I come back in and start to clean up some more. I have the water running doing dishes and think I hear a scream. I turn the water off and sure enough I hear screaming. It's not a high pitched girl sounding scream, so I know it's not Easton. It's Iailey and for her to scream I know somethings wrong. I open the door and ask what's wrong? Well Easton talked her into taking out the garbage, so she was dragging it and she says to me the glass came through and cut my leg. My day started with the stupid jam jar and it's going to end because of the damn jam jar. I never knew a silly little object could cause such an uproar of a day. Well I call Matt at work to meet me at Urgent Care because she needs stitches. His night is not going well at work, little does he know it's the curse of the jam jar. I'm panicking and tell him to meet me at the one by Smiths, well we get there and it's closed. We drive all the way through Chubbuck and Poci stopping at all the Urgent Cares, but they're all closed. So we end up in the ER for her stitches. This is the 2nd time she has got stitches. She is such a tough little girl, she hasn't cried either time. She will sit and talk and joke around with the doctors. I want to sit and cry for her, but luckily I've been able to keep it together. She ended up with 6 stitches. Easton felt bad and kept apologizing, she told him it was okay. Later she came and told me he shouldn't feel bad because it was her fault for breaking the jar. I told her no it wasn't anybody's fault, she's so sweet. She finally gets to bed around 11:00p.m. then Matt calls from work to let me know the bagel he packed for lunch was all moldy, dang the food today! It was quite the day.

They took great care of her at the ER, but look at all the bandaging for 6 stitches. Oh well I don't have to worry about it getting dirty at all.

Easter "2009"

We had a great Easter weekend this year. We went to Lava to the festivities and easter egg hunt there. We had a great time and great weather. We haven't made it there for a while. I'm so glad we did this year because they make it so fun for the kids. I also got to see some friends I haven't seen in a while, so that was fun to. The best part was just hanging out with my family, without much of an agenda. We just got to do what we wanted.

Happy 13th Anniversary!

13 years we have been married! Yesterday, April 6, was our anniversary. I had to pull out some pics of that day(sorry they're kind of bad, I was having issues with my scanner, so I took a picture of the pictures to put on here). Yes that long haired hippy is Matt, the guy I fell in love with and love even more every day. Thanks for 13 wonderful years honey! Our engagement picture.

Bridgette family, oh yes there will be lots of laughing over the hairdos. My favorite laugh goes to Tyson and Josie! The three cute little flower girls are now 18. I'm feeling a little old looking at these.

Matt's family. Can you tell he is the oldest and I'm the youngest by the amount of family members in each picture. Each family has grown a lot in 13 years.

Dance Competitions

Well dance competitions are done. They did really well. I can't remember what they placed in Idaho Falls, I know both dances were in the top 3 there. In Salt Lake at the Energy Solutions Center Rock Star placed 2ND and Electric Light Parade placed 3rd. In Pocatello Rock Star placed 1st. We just have the 3 day dance recital left, which is the same weekend as the Idaho Falls baseball tournament(that's going to be interesting ). Anyway great job dancing Iailey, you are an outstanding little dancer, I love watching you dance! That's Iailey in the middle getting ready to do her solo part. She really rocked it!
